Is flurry in a sin build any good?
Is the warrior skill flurry any good in a general pve build?
I've tried it w/ dagger builds and it seems pretty good but would u experienced sin users use it in pve?
how about in pvp?
i just started using sins recently and i'm interested in your opinions w/ this skill

In PvE sins have 7 slots available, and critical agility. It's so good it should never leave your bar.
I like flurry in PvP, but then again some prefer flail, it's personnal preference. the damage reduction of flurry is very low on daggers, making flurry a good skill for spikes

I'd go with yes until you have crit agility.

Frenzy might work if you take dash along

frenzy is always a viable alternative if you know how to use it
problem with frenzy is that it requires 2 skill slots (Frenzy + cancel stance), unless you like getting killed
flail on the other hand doesn't require a cancel stance, since it only lasts 4 seconds on a sin

I wouldn't consider Frenzy to be honest. Anything but a Warrior / Paragon will blow up with it, specially since 'Sins are frontlining casters.
But Flurry only affects base damage, so it's a viable alternative for dagger 'Sins.
As for buying Nightfall, it is worth it because you get: Loads of strong skills, Dervs and Paragons, PvE skills and heroes.

one thing i hate about NF is that most of the good skills are there :P
i guess i'll buy it then. I actually have EoTN but it didn't really seem to have nice skills beside those stupid ursan PvE ones and title grinding

You could by with just Factions, Proph and EotN. For Blossom spamming, Flurry is the second-best thing to Critical Agility; the glaring downside is that it becomes an energy hog pretty fast.
If you make room for energy management (Critical Eye, Critical Strike, perhaps even both) you could perform (almost) on the same level as a Blossom spammer with access to NF, arguably even better in strip-heavy areas.

Its 5 Seconds. [flail]
Frenzy + cancel stance would be fine, other than the fact you take up 2 slots not 1. I like [flail] because of the no refresh and its only 5 Seconds with strength at 0.
This will work if you have GW:EN [Weapon of Aggression]

Flurry works fine because it only takes damage off the base 7-17 of daggers. Otherwise, Frenzy is also an alternative until you have access to NF for Critical Agility in PvE.

[flurry] is one of those IAS skills that work better on a sin than the class it was originally made for. Before [critical agility] was put into the game, i would run it alot more than [frenzy] or [flail]
Now in PvE, CA is the best option for the armor buff, and it frees up your secondary slot.
For PvP, flurry would be your safest option. Flail is still a strong option but requires some adrenaline to set up, and is not very good vs a running target. Frenzy requires some management but is still a good option. You need a cancel stance like [dash] to go with it, and more awareness of who's around you. It would suck to get hit by [Rodgort's Invocation] followed by [Searing Flames] while you're in frenzy.

Not to mention you only have to pay for Critical Agility once.

It would suck to be hit by anything while in Frenzy, period. Even Warriors feel that way, and they're a lot tougher. For PvP:
[skill]tiger stance[/skill] for instagibs
either [skill]flurry[/skill] or [skill]flail[/skill][skill]dash[/skill] if you fancy yourself more versatile.
Then, there's always [skill]whirling charge[/skill] (get NF).

Flurry is effective but still undesirable. Its safe and easy, and is kind to newer players. Flail is very strong but i hate adrenaline on an assassin, and unless youre bad, you need to run a strong snare, or an effective kd in conjunction with it. If i'm ever running a sin with an ias its going to be either frenzy or tiger stance, tbh. Frenzy is just good. And tiger stance has the excellent synergy with spike builds.
always run dash with flail or frenzy, and tbh, always run it, its a great skill.

NF is a good buy because of the things it offers:
Two new classes - very powerful and unique, the Dervish (primary or secondary) opens up a whole new range of builds for both melee oriented and caster characters, while Paragons can be EXTREMELY powerful for groups in PvE as well as PvP play with the right builds.
New campaign - a pretty decent campaign, good story, HEROES galore, and tbh, some of the best farming areas for loot and/or to make money second only to UW and ectos.
New armors - best rit armor hands down (mummy ftw!), superhero sin armor, and a wealth of very neat armors for all the other classes, don't pass up the elite sunspear for your female elementalists!
Simply put, NF is a great buy, and gives you great IAS skills for your sin, such as [skill]Critical Agility[/skill] for PvE and [skill]Whirling Charge[/skill] for PvP if you're not using the [skill]Shadow Walk[/skill]+[skill]Dash[/skill] combo.

Way to res this...
Anyway [tiger stance] is the best stance for sins hands down unless your in PvE.
